I graduated from La Salle University in May 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a minor in marketing.

After graduating, I began building my career as a business journalist. I started out covering technology for sites like Heavy.com and Business Insider. My focus was on apps and streaming media where I would write up a variety of quick news hits/in-depth features highlighting intriguing new developers, designers or popular programs.

Currently, I work as a digital editor in Advantage Business Media's (ABM) life sciences dept. I cover the pharmaceutical/biotech sector and science-based startups for websites owned by the company as well as develop audience engagement strategies designed to drive traffic to social media.

I pride myself on my writing and research abilities and have a strong understanding of content management systems, social media platforms and analytics, search engine optimization tactics, as well as online marketing tools like Omniture and Chartbeat.
